Poll: Have you had Verizon phones come back clean, and find out later they are Lost/Stolen?

I buy/sell cell phones for a living, and we always use CheckESNFree.com, and a few other sites to check the ESN before we buy the phone, however lately I have found three Verizon phones that come back clean, however come back lost/stolen with Verizon.

So far I am out $400... In just the past two weeks. and that's just the ones that I know of, I fearful that there are more in the case..

I did find out the phones were reported at least a week before we bought them.

Not sure why this is.. but it's costing me $$$
