Three days ago, my Verizon galaxy S6 was grabbed by someone. I called Verizon to blacklist it. I checked the IMEI on checkesnfree.com by choosing Verizon, it showed badESN. However, when I checked the IMEI blacklist on checkesnfree.com, it showed not blacklisted.
Questions: 1. Is the phone blacklisted on all carriers in USA? 2. What's the difference between Bad ESN and blacklisted? The phone's IMEI is 990005895989607. Many thanks in advance. |

Typically bad esn, Would be if you quit paying your bill, or have EIP and sold phone the buyer would not be able to activate again on verizon. Blacklisted generally when reported stolen or lost / insurance claim filed. However yours does show its blacklisted/ badesn: Blacklist 990005895989607 03.19.2016 isBlacklisted Verizon 990005895989607 03.19.2016 badESN none |
